Famitsu Gives First Details on the New Persona Dancing Games
The latest issue of Famitsu has a few details on the two new Persona dancing games for Persona 3 and Persona 5 that were recently announced. For one thing, unlike Persona 4: Dancing All Night, neither game will have a story mode. Instead, Atlus are working on a new mode that will act as a replacement.
Here’s what we know so far:
– Using the experience from developing P4:DAN, Atlus is refining just about every aspect of the new Persona dancing games, including polishing the visuals and action
– There will be some completely new songs
– There will be a new mode to replace story mode
– The PS4 versions will run at 60 fps
– The gameplay will be a brushed up version of the P4:DAN system, with some additions and removals
– They want to introduce some exciting, colourful elements that cannot be done in main story
– All the members of the Atlus Sound Team are participating
Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night are due to release in spring 2018 for PS4 and PS Vita. Thanks to Ryokutya2089 for the information!
