Girls Und Panzer: I Will Master Tankery

This has really excited me this morning, for reasons I can’t quite put my finger on. I think it’s the bizarre combination of Tanks, Moe and Pink – or maybe it’s the fact that it has possibly the best name EVER! Whatever it is – you can consider me well and truly interested in Girls Und Panzer I Will Master Tankery.

Based on the anime of the same name – it revolves around a group of high school girls training in the art of ‘Tankery’ – like a  martial art of sorts but with… er… tanks. Apparently the game will follow the story of the anime quite closely – and will basically involve World of Tanks style battles with Tales-style dialogue skits in between.

I am totally down with this. God knows if we’ll ever see it on Western shores. It’s due to release on PS Vita in Japan on the 26th of June 2014. If it helps, I will localise this myself, with a Japanese-English dictionary – in my own blood if necessary.
