JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind Anime Confirmed via Trademark?

At this point we’ll take any news about a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind anime, the fabled animated adaptation of the 5th part of the JoJo series. Recently, Shueisha has filed for some new trademarks for the (literally translated from Vento AureoJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

 

Shueisha is the company that owns Shonen Jump and its sister magazines, so it could be that they’re just doing more generic merch or reprints of Part 5. But the perfect time to do that would, of course, be around the anime… The images are below! Everyone is losing their minds in the Reddit.

And yes, it’s true, that David Production (the anime studio that did the other parts) aren’t named in any of this trademarking. But the trademarking is actually legitimately sourced, and the imagery is new for Part 5.

 

There’s no point in getting overhyped, but it’s definitely newsworthy and would indicate that something is brewing for our favouring Golden Wind gangstars. For once, this is news about the new anime that does not taste of a liar.

It covers a whole bunch of different trademark types that would cover it for an anime, but also for things like books and other merch. It’s broad!

 

The trademark was originally filed back in December 2017, and came through 9th January 2018. There’s no indication as to when any announcement could be made, so keep on dreamin’!
