Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair Out Next Month
Who would have thought that the popular gambling anime would get its own game in the form of a balancing VR game. Just as the name implies, Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair has you crossing a steel beam on the top of a skyscraper.
This game follows the events of the Castle of Despair arc, where Kaiji and a handful of other contestants must cross a steel beam between two 22-story buildings in the Human Derby gamble game.
The game was originally planned to release in Winter but after a delay it should finally be out in Japan on August 28 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. Check out the trailer bellow:
I'm a huge fan of Japanese games and an aspiring game designer. I play literally every game genre. I also like retro games and miss the challenge that they once had. This is the reason why I love doujin games because they bring back that challenging aspect of retro games while innovating upon it.
