Kingdom Hearts 2.8 TGS Trailer and Release Dates revealed

Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue at TGS earlier this morning, as well as the release dates for both Japan and the West. You can get a look at the box art too, and it’s been humourously pointed out all morning about how similar the center image looks to some Final Fantasy XV shots!
 
The Kingdom Hearts 2.8 TGS trailer, which you can see below, has a lovely remix of Simple and Clean (the credits song by Utada Hikaru from the first game) and it’s already been dubbed in English.
 

The box art below is for the Japanese release of the game but if the Western releases are anything to go by, then chances are we’ll be seeing the same art when it releases here too.
 

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue releases on 12th January in Japan and 24th January in the West and it will be exclusive to PS4. Whilst it’s not a long delay, it was originally due out in December so it’s a shame to see it pushed back. Thankfully, it’s shaping up to be great!
