Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 trailer shows off 5 minutes worth of footage
Square Enix has released a new chapter for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 which includes Dream Drop Distance and two brand new pieces of content. Of course, some Kingdom Hearts III footage makes an appearance.
Dream Drop Distance has been given the HD remaster treatment having previously been exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, whilst Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage takes place after Birth By Sleep and you get to play as Aqua. Back Cover uses HD cinematics to tell the story of the Foretellers, other keyblade wielders, after they find a traitor amongst them.
I’m excited to be able to play as Aqua again, as she’s one of my favourite Kingdom Hearts characters, and to know more about the Foretellers who haven’t been covered much in the main game but in a spin-off PC browser game instead. Kingdom Hearts III might not be entirely new footage but there’re a few new bits that should please fans and even still, that game is looking absolutely gorgeous so you should watch it anyway. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be exclusive to PS4.
