New BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE Characters Due This Month

I’m a pretty big fan of fighting games, and absolutely love BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE. At current time of writing it has a pretty good roster, and the gameplay is both frantic and completely manageable. So, we were pleased that PQube have announced this afternoon that new BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE characters are coming – and soon!

This announcement came with a release date for the upcoming Update 1.5 for the game. So, on May 21st, Naoto Kurogane, Teddie, Seth and Heart Aino will be joining the game’s roster. What’s more, these four new characters to the game will be free for Deluxe Edition owners, and the title’s price will be reduced for the release of Update 1.5, making it the perfect opportunity for newcomers to pick up one of Evolution 2019’s main games!

Meet the new characters:

Naoto Kurogane – BLAZBLUE
A foreigner from another world. He possesses a unique power, the “Eye of the Hunter”, that allows him to see the life-force of living beings. With a strong sense of justice, he can’t ignore people who are in need of help and always rushes into situations without thinking much about the consequences.
Teddie – Persona 4 Arena
A mysterious bear suit who resides inside the TV world. It is said that the inside of the costume is empty, but…? He speaks with bear puns in e-bear-y sentences. His Persona is Kintoki-Douji.
Seth – Under Night In-Birth
A young man shrouded in mystery, known as “The Assassin” and feared by many. As though under the command of someone else, he challenges people who possess certain powers to duels, his identity and objective remains unknown.
Heart Aino – Arcana Heart
Shockingly innocent and overflowing with energy. Heart believes that there is no such thing as a truly bad person. in the name of love and justice, she meddles in other people’s business yet again.
