NieR: Automata Novels Are Heading West
Two NieR: Automata novels are making their way Westward, courtesy of Viz Media. NieR: Automata – Long Story Short is a novelisation of the game, whilst NieR: Automata – Short Story Long is a collection of short stories from series creator Yoko Taro and Jun Eishima.
Long Story Short will release in the West this October, whilst Short Story Long will arrive sometime next year.
NieR: Automata is available on PS4 and PC, and we spoke favourably of the game in our review. The Drakengard 3 short stories were great, so I’m mostly looking forward to checking out the all-new content that we’ll read in Short Story Long.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
