Nintendo Announcing New Hardware?

It’s no secret that Nintendo has been struggling especially when compared to the original Wii and it’s current competition. With E3 mere weeks away, is it possible for Nintendo to announce a new console despite the fact that they are skipping on their press conference?

For now a lot of sites have also confirmed of hearing that a new hardware announcement from Nintendo is right around the corner. The sources include: Gamerevolution, MCV and Videogamer.

Some sources confirmed that it will be playable on the E3 show floor and that it is comprised of two parts, Fusion DS and Fusion Terminal. The specs are said to be similar to that what we heard earlier this year:

All this points to a similar Wii U design, having a gamepad with screen and a dedicated console. At the same time this Gamepad will have a higher resolution capacitive touchscreen, with a much bigger battery. Also the built in memory and CPU imply that the gamepad won’t need the home console in order to run some of basic functions.

Will anything come out of all this, we will have to wait till June 10th in order too see.
