Official Resident Evil 2 Merch Range Revealed by Numskull Designs

If you could see our desks here at Rice Digital towers, you would see that we are huge lovers of merchandise from the games and anime we love. It just so happens that my personal favourite game of all time is Resident Evil 2 and so I’m over the moon that a remake is coming for the genre-defining survival horror game on January 25th 2019.

In an announcement today that has me salivating more than that first zombie in the Spencer Mansion, Capcom and the amazingly inventive merch company Numskull Designs revealed the official Resident Evil 2™ merchandise range, that they are releasing to coincide with the upcoming launch of Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC next year.

In their words:

Resident Evil 2 fans can feel like they’re part of the action with the official scented candle and R.P.D. pin badge, can look the part with snapbacks and t-shirts, and can join in on the action with a flashlight keychain inspired by the flashlight used by Leon and Claire throughout the game.

The full range of merchandise includes:

  • – R.P.D. Steel Mug
  • – Zombie Scented Candle
  • – Resident Evil 2 R.P.D. Collector’s Pin
  • – Resident Evil 2 Pin Set
  • – Flashlight Keychain
  • – ‘Made in Heaven’ Keychain
  • – ‘Made in Heaven’ T-shirt
  • – R.P.D. T-shirt
  • – R.P.D. Snapback

It’s hard to decide what my favourite piece of this range is, but I love idea of the Zombie Scented Candle, which is described as having ‘the curious, distinctive scent of the undead’. Also, I will very likely be picking up the “Made In Heaven” t-shirt and that gorgeous pair of pin badges (both pictured above and below).

If you like the look or sound (or smell) of anything here and want to see the full range, you see and pre-order this range right now here. Select products will also be available at retailers around the world including Amazon, GAME, GameStop, Target, Best Buy, EB Games and many more from January 25th.

Do you like the look of any of this range? Are you excited for the game to drop in just over a month? Let us know in the comments, or on Twitter, and check back for more coverage of Resident Evil 2 Remake and other Japanese titles.
