Omega Force Beserk Game Announced By Koei Tecmo
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have been putting out some great anime/manga licensed games lately — One Piece, Arslan, Attack on Titan. Now, after a few telling teasers, they’ve confirmed they will be adding an Omega Force Berserk game to the ranks, titled simply “Beserk” for now.
Beserk is a pretty popular Medieval-esque dark fantasy manga series from the late 80s and early 90s. It’s also inspired a well-received anime series, a film, and a brand new anime set to air in the Summer 2016 season. Beserk is generally considered to be one of the best dark fantasy anime series out there.
Beserk would certainly be a great fit for a traditional Omega Force musou game, but with how different Omega Force’s A.O.T. is feeling it’d be unwise to pigeon hole the developer’s capabilities. Either way it goes, we’re looking forward to seeing more.
Beserk will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC.
