Persona 5 S Teased With New Microsite From Atlus

Atlus has had a little bit of a time recently throwing out a series of teasers about the beloved Persona 5 and, although they’ve been frustratingly keeping to teasing a teaser, we’ve still been lapping up any and all information that has come out about these updates to the game. So, enter, Persona 5 S.

Via a new teaser website at P5S.jp, Atlus have teased whatever this title is, with a simple, striking image stating that  “1 More Information” for release on Thursday April 25th.

Twitter user Mystic has also reported (and translated) that the source code of the website features the following hidden calling card:

April 25, 2019.

“We will show you new Phantom Thieves that will overturn the world’s cognition and perceptions.

We are vigorous with voices that seek satisfaction.

Once again, we will take your hearts at the Ryogoku Kokugikan.

-The Phantom Thieves of Hearts”

As April 25th is the second day of the “Persona Super Live P-Sound Street 2019: Welcome to No. Q Theater!” concert at the Ryougoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, obviously we will have information during or at the end of this concert. This is following the recent news of Persona 5: The Royal for PlayStation 4 that was teased in March via a 30-second commercial; one that also itself was a tease, with more information coming on April 24th, the first day of the above concert.

Surely this must be Persona 5 S(witch), right? What with Joker incoming for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at some point this month, according to last news, then it might make sense to announce that Persona 5 is coming to Switch around the same time. Of course, this would place the release of Joker as April 25th, same as the date of the possible announcement, but this is just conjecture.

What do you think? Do you think that P5S will be a Switch edition of the game? Or would you rather it be Persona 5 Arena? Let us know in the comments, or on Twitter and Facebook, and check back for more coverage of Persona games and other Japanese titles. Can’t wait for Royal or “S”? Why not pick up a copy of Persona 5?

Spread the love!
