Pick Up The Last Remnant on Steam Now if You Want It
Square Enix has made an announcement on the Steam forums that The Last Remnant is being delisted from Steam early next month, and so you should pick the game up now if you’re considering playing it, as those who’ve purchased it will still be able to access and download/re-download it from their library.
There’s no reason given as to why The Last Remnant is being removed, but many are assuming that it’s some form of licensing agreement expiring as it’s almost ten years old, which is a pretty common contract expiry date. You can read the post here, and we’ve posted the game’s delisting dates across Japan, NA and EU below.
Sales will cease at the times below:-
Japan region: Wednesday 5th September, approximately 2:00 (JST)
NA region: Tuesday 4th September, approximately 10:00(PDT)
EU region: Tuesday 4th September, approximately 17:00(GMT)
So, there you have it. Pick up The Last Remnant now so that you can happily play it whenever you want, or sadly miss out. It’s only £7.99!
