Rise of Mana looks nice and pretty
I know loads of people are really protective over this series. And yes, of course I’d like to see the series get a ‘proper’ game but, actually, this free to play iOS game looks kinda nice. In fairness to Square Enix, I’ve enjoyed a lot of their mobile output of late and they’ve been pretty good at bringing stuff over to the West.
Rise of Mana is a 3D action RPG that seems in-keeping with the spirit of the series and with that all important multiplayer component too. Not sure if it’s just me, but I’m feeling a distinct Crystal Chronicles vibe here too.
Anyway – watch the trailer for yourself. Looks (and sounds!) really pleasant.
A huge 2D fighting and Shmup fan - I don't pretend to be any good at either, but I do play a lot of them! I'm also a big fan of JRPGs - when I have the time to play them. I also love anything obscure and have a not-so-secret passion for the moe.
