Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash Announced for March 2017 – Reminiscent of Splatoon??
Marvelous Japan announced a brand new Senran Kagura title in this week’s Famitsu! Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash will be an action shooter and will release for PlayStation 4 in Japan as soon as 16th March 2017.
The full issue of Famitsu will reveal more information, but from the preview we can glean that this edition of Senran Kagura will be an action shooter that involves using water guns in team-based battles. With the success of Splatoon this year it makes me wonder if Marvelous have been inspired to create their own team based squirty shooter.
To be honest though there really isn’t that much information about Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash yet, but from the screenshots it looks like you would expect a water gun-based Senran Kagura game to look, which isn’t exactly a bad thing.
Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash will release 17th March 2016 in Japan for PlayStation 4. There’s been no news yet on a western version but all of the recent Senran Kagura games have come to the west, and even sister series Valkyrie Drive has come to the west too — so we’d expect this to hopefully get the same treatment.
