Super Famicom: The Box Art Collection Book Coming Soon
This new Super Famicom: The Box Art Collection book from Bitmap books shows off some of the best of one of gaming’s golden ages in luxurious hardcover. It showcases some of the best most interesting Japanese video game box art from over the years. Take a look!
Compared to the Super Famicom, the Super Nintendo boxes were usually landscape, and generally just looked a little intricate for the most part. Seiken Desetsu 2 and Clock Tower above are two of our absolute favourites. It’s not a stretch to say that Japanese box art is quite often just plain better than what we get — especially in that era.
