Super Mario Movie In the Works
A Super Mario movie is in the works, with Nintendo and Illumination teaming up to bring the iconic hero to the big screen. I’m not sure if it can be any better than the classic live-action version, but with Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri co-producing, I’m sure they’ll give it their best shot.
You might know Illumination as the studio behind the Despicable Me movies, The Secret Life of Pets, and several other family movies, so it’s safe to say that the right studio is working on it. Say what you like about their movies, but they’re great for families and the animation is superb.
There are no further details on the movie just yet, but I’m looking forward to finding out more about it.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
