Vanquish PC Releases May 25th

Just like everybody else, we called Vanquish PC coming to Steam this month based on Sega’s incredibly obvious hints. Vanquish is now confirmed, and follows the Steam release of Bayonetta, another Sega and PlatinumGames title. This definitely seems to point to a trend of Sega finally deciding to get stuff on Steam.

Vanquish first released in 2010, but it’s still one of the best third person shooters out there. It’s like Gears of War on crack. It’s less hiding behind half-walls popping off shots and more using the rockets on your legs to zip around the area, juggling a variety of brilliant weapons.

Even though Vanquish is a pretty old game, it won’t just be a basic port. The Steam version of Vanquish. It’ll now support 4k, and the framerate will be unlocked. On top of this it will have a full set of graphical settings to tweak. On top of that, you can expect kb+m and controller support, as well as Steam Cloud, Achievements, and Trading Cards. The Bayonetta port was great, so you can expect this one to be too!

What could be coming next? Another game from PlatinumGames like Anarchy Reigns or Mad World? Or maybe something else from Sega such as Jet Set Radio Future, or, gee, I don’t know, maybe Shenmue HD?

Vanquish releases on Steam 25th May 2017, and it’s only £14.99!

Spread the love!
