Jurassic World Writer Hired for Metal Gear Solid Movie
According to a report from Variety, Derek Connolly, the writer for Jurassic World, has been hired to write the script for a Hollywood Metal Gear Solid movie. All these adaptations just get weirder and weirder!
After working with Jordan Vogt-Roberts on Kong: Skull Island, Connolly will be working alongside him once again on the Metal Gear Solid movie, as Vogt-Roberts is down to direct the project. Avi Arad, who recently produced the live action Ghost in the Shell, is producing.
There have been rumours and a shifting list of staff attached to a Metal Gear Solid movie for years, but it looks like this time it’s really going somewhere. It’s sort of surprising it hasn’t happened sooner! I’m very curious to see how this will be done. We’ll just have to keep an eye out for a trailer in the future!
