Zanki Zero: Last Beginning is coming to Europe in April

We’re all for interesting experiences at Rice Digital, and especially ones that completely surprise us with both direction and genre such as Zanki Zero: Last Beginning, which was announced for the West today by Spike Chunsoft.

They revealed that the game is coming far sooner than expected, landing on April 9th 2019 for Playstation 4, so we haven’t got long to wait. Also, Zanki Zero is confirmed to have VA and text in both English and Japanese for those (like us) that prefer Japanese audio with subtitles.

In the words of Spike Chunsoft:

From producer Yoshinori Terasawa and game designer Takayuki Sugawara, the creators of the Danganronpa-series, comes a new kind of survival game, Zanki Zero: Last Beginning. Explore the ruins, dungeons, and islands in this post-apocalyptic world through the POV of eight unique protagonists as they fight for survival and search for meaning in their never-ending cycles of life and death.

So, what do you think of this title? We’re quite intrigued, especially because of the dungeon crawling RPG aspect of the game shown in the trailer and the odd accelerated ageing aspect.
